Legally Blonde (2001)
As a student of law and fashion icon I am uniquely positioned to review this movie. It's iconic.
Honestly, it's a silly movie but it covers some serious topics and it's great to see how they are addressed. It's great to see a young girl realize that she shouldn't want to go to law school (or go anywhere for that matter) just to be "good enough" for some guy. She should want to succeed for herself. It's also great to see how she responds to the creep of a teacher hitting on her.
You can bill this as a comedy and write it off. It is funny - Jennifer Coolidge's bend and snap routine is great - but it is definitely more than that and how great is it to make a movie aimed at young teens that genuinely covers important topics like these?
